Check out their videos page for some great tutorials. Yes, they do ask for your email address, but you really want to give it to them. The videos cover all the basics if you are brand new to WordPress. You can watch them at your own pace and in any order. Revisit the videos at any time to refresh your learning.

Consider signing up for the daily email. It’s a treasure trove of information that focuses on showing you how to do one specific thing in WordPress. Topics range from adding YouTube videos to a page, to how to find and remove shortcodes, to how to set a default admin color scheme for new users. The instructions are focused and clear. And they provide any code that might be needed to accomplish the task. Whether or not you are interested in the topic, you’ll learn what’s possible in WordPress just by reading the headline.

If you consider yourself a more advanced user of WordPress, WPBeginner is still a very useful resource. While the Codex is the official documentation of WordPress, some folks find it difficult to understand. If that’s the case, consider jumping over to WPBeginner and check for a resource there. They’re always written in a friendly, easy-to-understand way. Don’t let the name fool you. They have some advanced information available too.
